Laguna Redang Island Resort

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful beachfront hotel. the snorkeling just in front of the hotel was amazing, with vibrant reefs and plenty of marine life. the hotel was well organized, keeping wait times to a minimum. the comfortable rooms and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. the hotel's inspired Terengganu building style and teak architecture added to the overall charm. the beach was perfect for swimming, and the pool was impeccably clean. the breakfast buffet offered a mix of Malay and western options, and the a la carte menu at the lobby bar/restaurant was excellent.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless vacation experience.

Booked this place for a 2-day stay and had a great experience, loved the deluxe room with a garden view, and found the staff to be professional overall.

This hotel is a fine base for a trip in Redang Island. Venue is very clean. The hotel's location was beachfront.

The beach was beautiful with crystal, clear water and white sand. the snorkeling activity was a highlight, with lots of marine life to see. the warm pool was also great to relax in.

The facilities were very old and not well, maintained. the Wi, Fi was advertised but permanently not working and was only available in the lobby, which was a huge inconvenience.

Christmas at this beach resort was a memorable experience. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the beach was just a few steps away from my room. The resort had a variety of activities to keep me entertained throughout my stay.

The food offered was below average and the customer service was lacking. The staff seemed uninterested in helping guests and often ignored their requests.

The hotel provided a variety of Western and Asian breakfast options and the staffs were friendly and helpful. The beach and pool area were both beautiful and clean with sun loungers and beach towels readily available. The shop on site had a good selection of snacks and souvenirs. The transportation from Shahbandar Jetty to the reception on the Island was well-organized and hassle-free.

The value for money is excellent, with affordable prices for a resort in such a stunning location. The staff is attentive and provides excellent service. The rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning.

I chose Laguna Redang Island Resort specifically for its location near Redang Island, as I wanted to explore its beautiful beaches and landmarks. The resort's facilities, such as the gift/souvenir shop, daily housekeeping, and 24-hour front desk, were readily available and convenient to enjoy. the Recreation Centre pleasantly surprised me with snorkeling equipment rental and temporary airbrush tattoo services. The authentic local cuisine, especially the famous 'Teh Tarik' and 'Roti Canai', offered at the in-house restaurant was a delightful culinary experience. I also enjoyed the selection of cocktails and mocktails at the Lobby Island Bar.

The food quality and taste at all the restaurants in Laguna Redang Island Resort were just average. The buffet dinner and ala carte options didn't meet my expectations, and I encountered issues with taste and quality.
